Mutilation Rites - Empyrean (Prosthetic, 2012)

Casualties at the job led to a battlefield promotion, and my time and mind have been sucked into a vortex.  Empyrean's rip-roaring bleakness has been a fitting soundtrack.  My review is up over at Metal Injection.
